Assists the Family Services Specialist and/or Intervention Specialist in achieving identified family goals for safety, permanence, and well-being as specified within the Family-Centered Services and DHHS case plan. Supports the family-centered services worker to ensure families can receive the required level of support and resources to successfully resolve barriers to safely having their children returned to their care. This includes opportunities for children to visit/interact with their parent(s) and/or siblings.
This position includes providing substance abuse assessments, treatment planning and discharge of clients, making clinical recommendations, following ASAM criteria, submitting insurance authorizations, and providing individual and group substance abuse therapy. This position must provide services 1-2 evenings per week until 8 pm as part of the team: temporary CADC, CADC, IADC, or IAADC license in Iowa.
